From Agadir : Essaouira day tour

Explore the unique history, culture and heritage of Essaouira on a day trip from Agadir. As you traverse the scenic route, be captivated by the breathtaking landscapes that unfold before your eyes, from rolling hills to picturesque coastal views. Essaouira, the old Portuguese city, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. On our way to Essaouira, we will have a few stops along the way:

• A quick stop to see the "flying goats" climbing the Argan trees looking for the fresh nuts and fresh leaves.

• and another stop to rest, have a coffee break, or use restrooms in a Berber village.

Once we arrive in Essaouira, you will have a city tour with our guide to visit the souk, which is located inside the Medina, and make a tour of the ramparts of the Kasbah, where you will explore the ramparts of the Scala, the port of Essaouira, the municipal market. After the city tour, you will have some free time to explore the city on your own, and don't forget to squeeze in a quick visit to the beautiful, sunny beach of Essaouira. After your free time, you will meet with our guide and driver and start the return journey to Agadir. A trip from Agadir to Essaouira is a delightful escape that promises to leave you with lasting memories.

• If you have specific sights you wish to see on your own, or you want more free time in the city, then please feel free to skip or leave the guided walking city tour and pursue your own sightseeing itinerary.

Itinerary :

➊ Pick up from your hotel in Agadir at 7h15 in the morning (7h00 for hotels or hostels in Taghazout).

➋ Rest stop at the highway to Marrakech, to use restrooms, stretch your legs or get a drink...

➌ Arriving to Marrakech around 11 o'clock, then start your guided walking tour with our guide, or skip the guided tour and pursue your own sightseeing itinerary.

➍ Guided tour to visit the monuments, Koutoubia Mosque, the old medina, the famous square of Jemaa el fna and the local market of Marrakech (optional visit to Bahia palace).

➎ After the guided tour, you will have up to 2 hours of free time to discover the city on your own and find a place to eat in the rooftop restaurants with square view.

➏ Meeting again with your guide and driver at the agreed meeting point and start the journey back to your hotel.

➐ Drop off at the hotels in Agadir around 21:00, and around 21:30 for hotels in Taghazout.
